What is the What
So clearly things here have been quiet. Why? Because I have been a busy little bee. Here are a scattered assortment of personal details about my life as of late. Perhaps they will paint some sort of picture of interest.
  • Busy week at The Daily Reel. Challenging and interesting, but still. Just a bit zonked at the moment.
  • I am very near picture lock on Missed, the short we shot last summer. YOU DO NOT KNOW HOW EXCITING THAT IS. You really don't.
  • There are also a few other projects that keep me busy, none of which are at the point of discussion yet.
  • It took me three days to watch all of this week's Lost. The Office, two days. Five weeks behind on Jericho! And forget about The Daily Show. I wish I were writing about this like it were news. Sadly, it's just the typical state of being.
  • It has been confirmed -- my hair has roots! Which is to be expected after I dyed my hair purple (well, burgundy) two months ago. So, in case I end up on camera during Mayday, I'm dying my hair tonight. Anyone have any thoughts? Beyond the overwhelming consensus of "dark."
    • I grew up seriously blonde, only darkening to the shade of dishwater in college. But since graduating, I've dyed it more and more frequently, and people seem to think that I look better as a brunette or redhead. When you spend twenty-something years of your life self-identifying as a blonde, this is more than a little odd.
    • Yeah, Mayday. That should be a delight.

  • I'm starting a sketch comedy class on Monday, and that also be delightful. Been a while since I've been in a classroom environment. I look forward to the return of my rage.
  • Speaking of rage! Saw a free screening of 28 Weeks Later last night, which has some great visuals (the deserted streets of London are incredible) but a script filled with, um, problems. Whereas 28 Days Later works with a theme of "mankind's true enemy is man," Weeks proceeds with the theory "mankind is kinda dumb, and love makes it dumber." Not to say that I didn't enjoy it, because I did. But Days is definitely the superior film.
  • Blogging to increase in regularity next week. By hook or by crook. For reals.
  • In the meantime, Happy Friday! Happy indeed.

Comments:
Fort Worth It Is, I've always been a brunette fan.

I actually ended up going with Herbal Essences's Cinnaberry. But brunette might be the next stop on this train.
