Well-played, 7-11 I had a ton of tabs open in a Safari browser window, full of information about this latest comics broohaha, which feature a lot of pictures of supergirls wearing very little. I figured y'all would be really interested in my thoughts on the subject. And the pictures of supergirls wearing very little. Alas, this morning I accidentally quit out of Safari, and because it is Safari all my links are lost. I'll try and rebuild my thoughts on the subject later. But in the meantime, let me tell you about this:
As a ten-years-running coffee addict, I've used many different means to get my daily fix. But my current method is by far the best.
On my walk to work each morning, I pass by the 7-11 at the corner of Holloway and La Cienega (stalkers, I'm the girl with the bright red backpack and the long black sweater coat). There, I stop, and I fill up my travel coffee mug (approx. 16 oz) with the following:
-Three shots of International Foods Creamer in various flavors (this morning: chocolate cream!)
-One Stok Black Coffee shot (a little creamer container containing, according to the label, 40 MG of caffeine, the equivalent of one shot of espresso)
-Brewed coffee of some random blend or flavor (this morning: blueberry!)
Total cost of all this delicious caffeine? $1 (it's a hot beverage refill). I usually pay in dimes. Suffice it to say that it is the BEST DEAL EVER. Well, technically, brewing my own coffee in the morning with my French press is a better deal. But it is not a $1 chocolate blueberry red-eye. So I am unimpressed.
I am looking forward to this weekend! Many fun activities lurk. Many fun people around. And it looks like the sun might stick around for some shining. So I might be down for this summer business, this year. Just indeed might.Labels: in which our heroine

One word, baby: Firefox.
This is why I switched to Firefox. I still think Safari is better in almost every way that matters -- autofill, not crashing on quitting, etc, -- but Firefox has three features that I've found indispensable: Asking you if you want to quit when you've got multiple tabs open, a session manager that reopens tabs after crashing, and the ability to send all open tabs at once into a new bookmark folder.
If Safari gained those features, I'd be back in a heartbeat.
Yeah, I love those things about Firefox, but I find Safari much more simple and streamlined for the bulk of my web browsing. I should probably look into full-time Firefoxing. But Safari is so fast...
